It’s been a project three years in the making, but last Saturday, June 11, Minneapolis Animal Care & Control finally unveiled their new dog run: three gorgeous grassy areas where the dogs in their care can stretch their legs.
The new space was built using only money provided by private donors — not a single taxpayer dollar went towards this project, which makes this a particularly wonderful moment for MACC and the animal lovers of Minnesota. The new dog run was built on the site of the old one, which had been a small concrete area that was also home to a couple of big air conditioning units. And while the new space isn’t necessarily huge, it IS a huge improvement, and we’re so happy for MACC and the dogs in their care. Congratulations, everyone, and thanks to all you fabulous donors!
